Automation Triggers is an extremely versatile and powerful technology in Triggerbee. Automation Triggers allows you to configure actions that take place as a response to actions happening on the website. When a visitor performs a certain task you can configure Triggerbee to for example change properties on the visitor like the label, increase lead score, target a Widget with a custom message  to him on his next visit.

But only that. The really powerful possiblities comes from our Integration Apps, such as Email and CRM platforms. Then you can change properties on the visitor in the subscriber list, you can trigger outbound emails and insert deals into CRM.

See more examples on Triggers.

The possibilities are endless.

Every Automation Trigger has Conditions and Actions. When the Conditions are met the Actions execute.

Triggers only evaluate new incoming visitor sessions. We do not look at old data.

So this is how it works:

  1. Start by creating a new Trigger.

  2. Define the trigger conditions

Under what conditions should this trigger execute? For example when a visitor completes a goal or visits a URL? You can optionally add more than one condition, like “When a visitor with label 'Prospects' views the page “/signup”.

  1. Add a Action to that Trigger.
The choices of Actions you have available depends on what Integration Apps you have active. If you want to trigger an email to the visitor you need to hook up an external email distribution provider (see our list of compatible services) as Triggerbee do not offer a built in service for sending emails.

  2. You can sequence multiple actions on each Trigger, and add a delay (in minutes) before a Action is executed.
