Use Triggerbee to create segments out of your audience based on progressive interest profiling
Your website, just like most websites, has tens, hundreds or even thousands of pages. Analytics services like Google Analytics talk about what pages are the most popular, but how can you see what topic your visitor is mostly intereseted in? Topics typically spans over multiple pages and targeted at different personas.
Example of topics might be:
Different business areas and solutions
Different product categories
Blog posts in different categories
Career pages/job postings
Pages that deal with information about return policy, track order etc
Helpdesk and support pages
Pages about the financial structure of the company, stock, executive board
Analytics services like Google Analytics talk about what pages are the most popular, but how can you see what topic your visitor is mostly interested in?
With Progressive Interest Profiling in Triggerbee you can create topics by connect different pages. Triggerbee then automatically profiles each visitor based on an algorithm based on the amount of time they spend on each topic and other metrics. By understanding what topics each visitor is interested you can segment the visitors as different personas that aligns with your marketing strategy. Adapt your communication and become more relevant.
When Progressive Interest Profiling is activated profiling is performed on each Session, Contact and Organization. The profiling is done by analyzing the URL of each page view and looking for the keywords and URL patterns that you have configured for each Topic. Currently Triggerbee does not support programmatic configuration of topics.
You can activate Progressive Interest Profilings and define your Topics under Settings-, Interest Profiling.
