What is a Memory campaign?
A Memory campaign is a small interactive game where visitors flip cards and try to match pairs. The game creates engagement and is often used before a signup step or a reward reveal.

The total script size is about 55 KB, which is smaller than most similar tools (OptiMonk: 170 KB, Sleeknote: 78 KB, Klaviyo: 69 KB).
Even when running multiple different campaigns, the impact on performance is practically zero. Scripts are cached in the browser and across multiple layers of cache, so returning visitors never re-download them if they return within a week.
In rare cases, if a campaign is embedded in a container without a fixed height, you might see a small layout shift (CLS). To avoid that CLS shift, set a fixed height on your container that matches the height of your widget.
Below you can see a Google PageSpeed test from a Triggerbee customer with ~10 Triggerbee campaigns live and published. The test show that the combined impact on site speed is ~84 KB of transfer size and about 30 milliseconds of main-thread work. This is well below what would meaningfully impact performance, or even be noticeable.

However, if you want to use multiple prizes we highly recommend you use a sign up form BEFORE allowing visitors to interact.
Each prize can be customized with:

- A weighted probability (so rare prizes appear less often)
- Trigger showing a (static) coupon code immediately, or change step to present a unique reward.
Triggerbee automatically calculates the odds for you based on your settings, so you never need to worry about complex math.
Can I use one-time or unique coupon codes in Memory campaigns?
Yes, you can use individual / unique coupon codes in all Triggerbee campaigns. We have even built a free tool that lets you generate up to 50,000 unique coupon codes. Export them as CSV, and upload them to your CMS (WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Centra, etc) to activate them. Then create a coupon set in Triggerbee, using that same CSV file.
Each visitor who wins can receive a one-time code which will be unusable after one use, preventing code sharing or abuse.
You can also set campaigns to pause automatically when all your codes have been used and distributed.
However, you cannot use unique coupon codes in the rewards text. To use unique coupon codes together with gamified campaigns like Spin to Win or Memory, make sure to check the correct slice(s) as winners, and use “Change Step” to send the user to a step where they can copy their code.
Add the component Unique Coupon Code on the Success step, after the user has interacted and received their reward.
Can I collect emails before showing the prize?
Yes. You can decide when visitors see their prize:
- Immediately after spinning
- Only after filling out a signup form
If your goal is to grow your subscriber list, collecting the email before showing the prize is a good option. If you want instant engagement, reveal the prize right away.
